Whereas, Kimberly Ho, a councilwoman, a member of Westminster City Council, failed to fulfill her duty as a representative of citizens of Westminster City and caused a turmoil among the Vietnamese-American community. People fight with each other on Internet, Facebook and Emails. Slanders are sent everywhere and make citizens losing their faith in the government.
Whereas, Kimberly Ho betrayed herself when she contradicted with her 9th of December, 2020 resolution in which she and all other four council persons allowed to build the Statue of The Victory of Co Thanh Quang Tri in the area where the Monument of Vietnamese and American heroes was built.
Whereas, Kimberly Ho abused her authority when she called for an emergency meeting of all council persons just because of her personal feelings about the building the statue. In fact, there was no need for such emergency meeting. The issue of building the statue was just a matter of Vietnamese-American community, not city’s issue.
Whereas, Kimberly Ho showed her lack of experience in working for government, she mixed her personal likes and dislikes with the safety of the city.
Resolved by the citizens of Westminster City, California.That the citizens of Westminster City, California will call for a removal of Kimberly Ho from her office. The recall election will be organized as sooner as better.
